05 June

This marks the beginning of the of the diving season in the Tubbataha Reef National Park for the year and so we aim to maximize the fun and activities during this month beginning with a mind blowing cruise trips onboard our classy lady boat- Our boats! The departing point is at Puerto Princea on the Palawan Island early morning at 07h30 am, this is to capitalize on the calm waters and visibility of the ocean with clear and fresh air-A good way to begin a boat cruise. So the boat departs and return six days to same spot, same time, However it is important to note that the trip for this week is highly recommended for those relatively experienced in diving due to the ripping currents and deep dives.

The fun continues as Our boat makes her second cruise trip across the tubbataha reef national park, and this week is open for all, divers and non-divers. This means the fun on our boat cruise is not limited to just diving, so even if you don’t dive, you are certain to see the natural wonder of global importance and beauty in the Philippine waters and vicarious enjoyment is very possible as we head you towards the schooling of bumpheads, burping whale sharks, a family of marble rays huddled together, and Bird Island, gloriously packed with terns and boobies. And our divers can experience the reefs' dramatic underwater terrain, awe-inspiring biodiversity and encounter large marine animals such as sharks, turtles and manta rays.

And as it is, the boat will return to the Palawan Island at Puerto Princea early morning 07h30 am on the 20th of June ready for the next cruise...

On our third trip we take you into a different direction as we answer the call from Palau…Upon arriving on Palau, you have plenty of activities ahead of you for the week, so be prepared for a dilemma of choosing which activity to attend and which to forego. Palau is made of a mixture of culture, history, diving and nature all in one and as such the guests can to visit the Palau Aquarium where you get to see various interesting exhibits and programs which are aimed at educating and entertaining.

The Palau Aquarium is open to public Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 09:00 am to 5:00 pm. So it’s important to plan well ahead on which activities are more close to your heart so that you can have a heartfelt adventure on unique island of Palau!!...Either choice you make, you are never short of fun and you will never have a thought of regret cross your mind, Unless it’s when you ask yourself why you didn’t come earlier!!!

And what's a cruise trip to the Philippines without visiting the largest coral reef in the country??? That answer is obvious, it’s not a fun trip!!That is why we at LiveAboard Asia have made it our personal agenda that all our guests have to experience unimaginable world of the Apo reef. Here there are numerous activities such as diving, hiking and mountain trips plus a tour to the surrounding river areas (the trip will take about 1.5 to 3 hours, mostly depending on how far the guests wants to go. And if you wish to stay indoors, no worries!! You can go for message & spar or try other forms of recreation such as various card-and board games, UNO stacko, Parcheesi, chess and many more.

And as the saying goes-Good things do come to an end…The 31st of June marks the end of the diving season for the Tubbataha Reef National park.

LiveAboard Asia is already planning to welcome you onboard for the next Diving season!!!
